The inaugural edition of Realhack was launched in September 2018. Above 160 teams from 15 universities registered for the pre-hack. The pre-hack was hosted via HackeRank on 28th September 2018. A total of 15 teams were selected for the Grand Finale which happened on 15th and 16th October 2018 at the University of Kelaniya. Team ReturnX from the University of Colombo School of Computing became the winners. The event was successfully hosted together with our sponsors and we are always grateful for their valuable contributions on making the event grandeur.

Following the remarkable achievements of Realhack 1.0, Realhack 2.0, and Realhack 3.0, the launch of Realhack 4.0 took place. A total of 270 teams comprising undergraduates from a total of 18 universities registered for RealHack 4.0 and the preliminary round was hosted on www.hackerrank.com on 25th of February 2023, featuring a 3-hour contest. Based on their performance on the platform, 15 teams distinguished themselves, earning a spot as the finalists. The final event happened on 11th March 2023 at Dharmaloka Hall, University of Kelaniya.
